Our beef cattle are raised in small herds, where cows and their calves roam freely together on green pasture from spring through fall, and then munch on our own organic hay and grain during the cold season.

In cold or inclement weather, they find safe haven and soft hay in the shelter of our beautiful 1890s barn.

We raise cattle that live healthy, happy lives doing what cattle naturally do: wandering around, grazing, interacting with each other, and being their bovine selves.

When it’s time for them to go to market, we work with a small, local processing facility to ensure their lives end humanely, too.

Farmer Mike takes care of each member of our small herd personally, managing every component of their food supply, veterinary care, and more.

Farming and raising animals this way is more a partnership than a transaction, and we like it that way.

You are welcome to come see the animals in their natural environment if you like! It’s a great way to feel a deeper connection to your food, and to humane, sustainable agriculture.
